Old Chicago and Telluride Brewing Company to Launch “Swanny River Beer” at Special Kick-Off Celebration
WHAT: Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom, in partnership with Telluride Brewing Company, will host a tapping party celebration for the release of “Swanny River Beer,” a limited-edition collaboration beer inspired by the life, legacy and love for the outdoors of local Denver legend,
Jeff “Swanny” Swanson.
“Swanny River Beer” is a crisp, limited-release brew created as a tribute to Swanson and crafted in collaboration with friends, family, and brewers connected to his story. The beer reflects his deep appreciation for the mountains, rivers and the kind of moments shared after a day outdoors — it will be featured on tap at Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom in Highlands Ranch, where guests will be able to raise a glass in his honor.
WHO: Jeff “Swanny” Swanson is remembered as a devoted outdoorsman, friend, and family member whose life was defined by community and time spent in nature. He has a long-standing connection to Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom through his family — most notably his father, a regular guest who has completed an incredible 98 beer tours with the brand and continues to gather with friends and loved ones at the restaurant in Swanson’s memory.
